It is a privilege to introduce myself as the new Director of the High Performance Electrical Neuroimaging (HPEN) Laboratory of the Center for Cognitive and Social Neuroscience (CCSN), Social Sciences Division at the University of Chicago.
As electrical neuroimaging and psychological science continue to grow in fundamental and medical research, I am thrilled to be part of this new CCSN initiative to enhance the University of Chicago research capabilities in healthy, psychiatric, and neurological populations.
Together with scientists from the CCSN (and beyond), the HPEN team hopes to create a national and international platform for rigorous, stimulating and collaborative scientific environment for all students, scientists, teachers and faculty interested in performing interdisciplinary research in social neuroscience.
The HPEN team and I look forward to working with you to advance the field of neuroscience and better understand the spatiotemporal dynamics of the social brain at the University of Chicago and beyond.
